We are dedicated to the design, procurement, and construction of solar PV and storage system with a portfolio of residential and commercial projects, operating as a premium renewable energy solution firm and the premier energy company in the region.
Our services span grid-tied and solar-plus-storage systems for homes, businesses, hotels, and island applications, with an emphasis on resilience and reducing diesel dependence. We are a certified Tesla Energy storage installer and promoted battery systems for both residential and commercial buildings, integrating them with PV to provide backup and time shifting.
Meet Our Founder
Matt Gorvin has established himself as a leading voice in the region’s accelerating transition toward low-carbon energy and a more economically and environmentally sustainable future. Since co-founding Renu Energy in 2015, he has led the company as CEO, building it into a premier provider of distributed solar and battery storage systems, known for innovative, elegant, and commercially viable solutions.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Matt has lived in Turks & Caicos for the past 12 years, where his work has helped reduce reliance on diesel generation while advancing resilient, hybrid energy models that integrate seamlessly with the built environment. Through early pilot projects, strategic partnerships, and close collaboration with architects and developers, he has helped demonstrate how renewable infrastructure can lower operating costs, strengthen island resilience, and unlock new opportunities for sustainable growth.
