Renu Energy delivered the solar and battery microgrid for The Strand in Turks & Caicos, installing more than 800 kW of solar generation integrated with battery storage. The system forms a resilient energy backbone for the development, reducing reliance on diesel while providing reliable power across the property.

The installation supports both the resort’s hospitality program and its operational infrastructure. Renu Energy provided solar systems for the guest villas and hospitality buildings, helping ensure that the guest experience is powered by clean, renewable energy. In addition, the system serves key commercial buildings on the property, including the clubhouse, kitchen, and storage facilities.

Together, these installations create a cohesive solar-plus-storage microgrid designed to support the daily operations of the resort while advancing the island’s transition toward more sustainable energy systems.
